I haven't left for Iran yet, but I already have a good story to tell... Its very hard to get an Iranian visa for independent travel, so my friend Shahriar arranged to have me sent there for businees... A company called B.G.I. (which stands for Brasserie Générale d'Indochine, a brewery) is sending me to work with the Damavand Water Co. — the company run by my friend Shahriar. So I will be going to the islamic republic, where alcohol is illegal, sent by a company which makes beer. I like the irony and I think that it bodes well... I will arrive in Iran on October 29 2003.
